• Traditional Piano Lessons begin with:

  • learning the letter names of the white keys

  • mastering the first 7 letters of the alphabet forward and backward

  • learning standard rhythms and how to count them

• The student then moves on to learning simple songs from the John W. Schaum piano course. 

• This is soon supplemented with pieces from required lists published by various musical festivals; in return the student is able to earn trophies and gain confidence as a musician. 

• Seasonal music for any level of student

• Theory and Harmony

  • Scales and chords​ are taught simultaneously with learning piano technique.

​

• Organ Lessons

  • Organ lessons are taught on a Yamaha HX-1 Electone organ​

  • David has been playing the organ for 60 years
     

• MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface)

  • Instruction in computer recording and editing is also available​

  • Can be done on Yamaha Clavinova or organ
